The Alice Cross Centre – 50+ CHAMPIONS – a well-established, local, vibrant, community centre hub for Teignmouth and surrounding area. Run by Age Concern Teignmouth and Shaldon, an independent charity, that provides services, signposting and support for people over 50.

A great meeting place with newly fitted coffee bar area, free WI-FI, newspapers and weekday lunch club serving freshly cooked meals, from the in-house kitchen. The Hall hosts daily activities, including singing, dancing, exercise classes, seated and standing, Tai Chi, Table tennis, and Yoga. Learning opportunities include computer and art classes. Special events including Tuesday Tea Dance, Sunday Lunch Club, Saturday music nights, Trips and Outings are run. The afternoons and evenings offer independent chess, bridge and choir clubs to join.
